Aridaia Natural History Museum
At the entrance to the city, next to the Town Hall, the Museum of Natural History is in the building of the old Railway Station. During the First World War, allied troops built the known train Karatzova to help the movement and the supply of the Army. In the year 2002, it turned into the Museum of Natural History. In its halls are exposed fossils found in excavations in Almopia and other areas. Major exhibits are the fossilized bones of the Cave Bear found in the caves of the Baths. In plant science room, we can see photos and plants that thrive in the area of Almopia. Also, the area is enriched with minerals and rocks from Almopia and other areas. Traditional costumes of Almopia are kept in a room of the museum.
